This collection documents the activities of Sandra Unterman Hoeh as she served as
Milwaukee’s 3rd District Alderwoman from 1976 to 1989. Hoeh was focused on
neighborhood issues in her district and many of the records pertain to these issues.
The collection consists of subject files that relate to various events during Hoeh’s
tenure, as well as various areas included in her district. The subject files include
correspondence between Hoeh, her constituents, and other city officials. Other
subject files include: agendas, blueprints, contracts, maps, meeting minutes, news
clippings, notes, and reports. Some files pertain to improvements in her district
like street repairs and traffic diverters. There are also files related to Hoeh’s
time on the Board of Zoning Appeals, Expressway and Transportation Commission,
Historic Preservation Negotiating Board, Licensing Division, and the Standards and
