Abstract: Blue line architectural drawings collected by Shinji Yamamoto (probably while serving as State Architect of Wisconsin) of the Monona Terrace Civic Center designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and the Monona Basin Project by William Wesley Peters. The Monona Terrace Civic Center drawings include plans, elevations, and sections dated December 1, 1956 and February 15, 1959. These are believed to be the most complete set of drawings, either in copy or original, of the February 15, 1959 version of the Terrace. The one drawing for the Monona Basin Project is the development master plan which is undated.

Abstract: Collection provides documentation of most of the Yannay catalog, as well as some musical events and series with which Yannay was involved, such as the Music From Almost Yesterday concert series. The documentation takes a variety of forms and usually includes scores and parts, but also often recordings, ephemera, props, and promotional material. Material dates from 1956 to 2006.

Abstract: Scripts of an NBC-TV producer-director, consisting chiefly of files on David Brinkley's Journal, 1961-1964. The remainder of the collection is composed of scripts for documentaries which Yates produced and directed, 1964-1967, on a variety of subjects such as American politics, conservation, and events in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Abstract: Papers of Yawkey, a Wausau, Wisconsin, lumberman and paper mill executive, and of Woodson, his son-in-law, concerning their various companies and business enterprises. Yawkey's first business, Yawkey and Lee Lumber Company, was succeeded by the Yawkey Lumber Company, and investments in numerous firms in twenty states and two Canadian provinces followed. Yawkey and Woodson were members of the loosely organized “Wausau Group” of investors, who had investments in timber tracts, lumber and paper manufacturing, land and real estate, utilities and power companies, oil and gas exploration firms, newspapers, insurance and finance companies, and mining operations. Most records date from 1920 to 1945. The collection includes correspondence, primarily of a business nature, records of the companies in which Yawkey and Woodson invested or held administrative positions, and material on lands and leases owned, particularly in Wisconsin and Oregon. The companies file includes correspondence and related material, a variety of financial records, maps of property and timber tracts, records of timber and of timber cruises, stock and tax records, assay and production reports, and leases and other legal documents.
