Kuoni-Reuter Post 167 Records and Photographs,

Scope and Content Note

The records of the Kuoni-Reuter Post 167 are divided into two series, Records and Photographs.

Records (1922-1997) contains a large run of meeting minutes and post service records. Starting with the first post meeting in 1922, these minutes relate the names of officers, the activities of the group such as fund raisers, recreational gatherings, and concerted efforts to increase patriotism and veterans benefits. The personal service records contain information about members, particularly about their military service. These documents provide insight into who the members of the post were and also their military background (i.e. the number of members who were World War I veterans, World War II, etc.). Also included in the collection are membership lists from the 1990's, scattered financial reports, and a 1935 constitution.

Photographs (undated) contains one photograph of an early meeting of the post with all members identified. The other photo, titled "Last Man's Club," shows several men from the first photograph, presumably World War I veterans, much older.
