Drafts and research are for his books and articles on agriculture, rural Wisconsin, and adult education. Also includes instructional materials, speeches and presentations, plans, and correspondence related to his career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a county extension agent, professor, chair of the Department of Continuing and Vocational Education (CAVE), director of the National Leadership Development Program (NELD), and professor emeritus. Also includes papers related to his publication events including speeches, presentations, and notes. Also includes awards, journals, and photographs. Photographs are incorporated into the papers portion of the collection. Audio recordings are interviews he conducted on rural Wisconsin, and recorded lectures. Videos are of UW-Madison related lectures as well as Public Broadcasting television programs he was featured in, and CDs are either videos or electronic files with interview transcripts, some unpublished manuscripts, UW-Madison career materials, and some correspondence.
