Abstract:

Professional records of an Oshkosh physician and surgeon who also operated a small hospital from 1918 to 1921. Hospital records include accounts of purchases, wages paid to employees, charges made to patients, and some case histories, including prescriptions which show the type of medicine ordered for specific cases. Office records include accounts, 1920-1949; vital statistics, which are duplicates of the doctor's records on births, deaths, and the use of opium; prescription records, 1929-1931; accident records, 1929-1949; and records concerning insurance cases. The collection also contains brief genealogical information on the Schein and Streich families.
