Abstract:

Letters written to Dr. E. H. Porter of Skaneateles, Onondago County, New York by his brothers-in-law, William N. and Palmer Gardner, and others in southeastern Wisconsin, giving an excellent picture of land speculation practices and early Milwaukee and Kenosha history.
