Abstract:
Index to Vernon County Deeds (Vernon Series 29), containing names of grantors (sellers) and grantees (purchasers) noted in real estate deeds. Entries show instrument number and name, names of grantor and grantee, description of land, volume and page where recorded, to whom delivered, and amount of fee received. This microfilm was produced by the Genealogical Society of Utah, 1987, which holds the master negatives. Originals are in the Vernon County Register of Deeds Office, Viroqua, Wisconsin. (Vernon County was formed under the name of Bad Ax County in 1851 and existed under that name until 1862.)
