Abstract:
Scripts and films collected by a radio-television executive who served as media consultant for the AFL and the AFL-CIO. Included are opening and closing radio continuities, 1950-1952, for Frank Edwards and the News (MBS), which indicate organized labor's position on the Cold War, communist subversion, the elections of 1950 and 1952, and other issues. The two films, which were part of NBC's Eternal Light series, concern Frances Perkins and Samuel Gompers.
