Abstract:
Tape-recorded and transcribed interview conducted December 8, 1976, by James Cavanaugh of the Historical Society staff with Philip G. Marshall, Milwaukee, a former socialist who in the 1940s helped launch the Democratic Organizing Committee, the vehicle which reformed the Wisconsin Democratic Party; plus correspondence and other papers, 1947-1976, from his political activities.
