Tape-recorded interview, March 21, 1976, with Max Leopold, a Jewish resident of Arpin, Wisconsin from 1904 to 1952; concerning his work in farming and farmers' cooperatives, on a committee formulating unemployment compensation legislation, as a justice of the peace, in the Progressive Party, in the Farm Bureau, and in other areas, his childhood in Rumania, and his retirement in San Diego, California. Interviewed at San Diego, California, by Ben Minkoff.
