Abstract:

Case files from the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection documenting consumer complaints of violations of the Unfair Sales Act (Wisconsin Statutes 100.30(1)) and unfair trade practices in the dairy industry (Wisconsin Statutes 100.201(2)). Included are recommendations, investigative reports, audit reports, warning letters, special orders, and attorney correspondence. The case files are grouped by broad topics such as trade administration, dairy trade practices, and drug pricing. (Drug pricing documentation was no longer filed in this series after 1987, and is not held by the Archives after that year.)
