Scope and Content Note

General information includes departmental organization charts; program statements, goals and objectives; and teacher handbooks. The curriculum guides are working outlines of concepts to be taught to individuals at different educable levels, and they are arranged by year and by title. Grant documentation generally consists of applications, advisory committee meeting minutes, and reports, and are filed by starting date. Reports and studies of training school programs are written either by NWCDD staff, the Department of Public Welfare, or graduate students using the institution for their study. These are arranged chronologically by year. Documentation of student social organizations and activities contains criteria for membership, events schedules, and correspondence of the Boy and Girl Scouts, musical groups, and other organizations.
