Abstract:
General office records of the Engineering Division and its predecessors, the Joint Engineering Staff of the Wisconsin Railroad and Tax Commissions and the Railroad and Utility Division of the Engineering Department. Included are correspondence and memoranda, inspection and progress reports, notes, reference material, blueprints, sketches, and surveys related to the division's responsibilities for valuation of steam railroads, street railroads, and utilities and for matters related to safety, service, construction, and all physical aspects of utility regulation.
