Abstract:
Files of formal cases in which municipalities applied for certificates of authority to construct public utilities where none existed, to be financed in part by Public Works Administration (PWA) and Works Progress Administration (WPA) funds. Most of the utilities involved are water and sewage plants. Files include applications, transcripts of hearings, reports of Commission engineers and Board of Health sanitary engineers, plans, exhibits, and related correspondence.
