Abstract:
Scrapbook containing printed speeches of the Railroad Commissioners after the Commission was given the responsibility in 1907 of regulating public utilities. The speeches explain the purpose of the Commission, the advantages to the utilities and to the public, and the methods of regulation obtained through the use of uniform accounting systems and the control of utility rates and securities issues.
