Abstract:
An illustrated report prepared by the Agricultural Committees for Milton H. Button, director of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, describing the agriculture exhibits at the Wisconsin Centennial Exhibition, August 7-29, 1948 at the State Fair Grounds containing narrative reports, photographs of the various exhibits, clippings, and ephemera concerning the first "Alice in Dairyland" contest. Additional materials include correspondence, travel diaries of Milton and his wife Velma, news clippings, ephemera, and photographs related to his work with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as an agricultural advisor.
