Abstract:

Records pertaining to the Baraboo Joint School District, primarily from the City of Baraboo but also including the Towns of Fairfield and Greenfield. The school volumes cover the years 1889 to 1961 and document student attendance and letter grades. Many of these volumes do not include labels identifying which ward they originated from. Also included are student card files for Baraboo, roughly covering the years from 1915 to 1930, and providing information for each student's date of birth, address, guardians, and school history. Additionally present are Lyons School reunion records from 1939 to 1962, including yearly registers, correspondence, and photographs.
