The Jacobs Family Papers consist primarily of the collected papers and writings of Judith and Mabel Jacobs. Some materials regarding their parents is included as well as information regarding friends and associates of both sisters.
The collection is divided into three series: Family Papers, Judith's Papers, and Mabel's Papers. In addition to correspondence, memorabilia, and clippings, the collection also includes samples of Judith's artwork, poetry, and writings; and of Mabel's writings. Exhibition and concert programs for both women are also included.
Collected clippings and miscellany regarding well-known Kansas newspaper editor William Allen White are included as well as a copy of “Glimpses,” a series of vignettes on White by Judith Jacobs (1974).
