Abstract:
Records, mainly 1969-1975, of Kemper Hall, an Episcopal girls school for boarding and day students, founded in 1870 and named in honor of Bishop Jackson Kemper. From 1878 to 1969, the Sisters of St. Mary, an Episcopal women's order, operated the school, and in 1975 the school closed due to financial problems. The records document the administration of the school and its dissolution.
