Abstract:
Home movies and photographs about the domestic life and careers of several generations of the Faville family of La Crosse and Madison, Wisconsin. Documented members of the family include Henry Faville (1847-1926), a Congregational minister; his son Theodore Rush Faville (1881-1955), also a minister and the superintendent of the Wisconsin Congregational Conference; and Theodore's son, Henry Esch Faville, a commercial photographer in Madison. The majority of the photographs were taken by Theodore, a talented amateur, and by Henry Esch Faville, although some photographs may have been taken by Charles R. Wicks, field superintendent for the Conference, and by friends.
