Abstract:

Records, circa 1931-1941, documenting individuals eligible for Works Projects Administration (WPA) employment, along with information about their families, and the assistance they received through the WPA, and record cards of men enrolled in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These functions of the WPA were administered through the City of Appleton Relief Department and the Outagamie County Department of Public Welfare in conjunction with WPA District #2.
