Papers, 1919-1971, of Rev. Bernard J. Stecker, a Lutheran minister who founded the Church of Our Saviour (currently a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America), in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, a parish he led from 1925 until his retirement in 1966. The papers consist primarily of sermons, church bulletin writings and related material. Stecker's sermons are organized by the liturgical calendar; subject files include newspaper clippings, bulletins, correspondence, church and personal records, and six photographs of the church and Stecker. Restricted materials include correspondence and notes relating to his work with inmates at the women's prison, Taycheedah Correctional Institution in Fond du Lac (Wisconsin Home for Women).
