Town records consisting of the Clerk's General Record books and volumes of meeting minutes. Each General Record book is divided into sections recording the town board and annual town meeting minutes, election results, lists of town officers, oaths and bonds, record of chattel mortgages, licenses granted, and financial records. When the section allotted for meeting minutes filled up faster than the other sections, a separate volume was created to continue the meeting minutes. These separate volumes typically contain minutes of the board of supervisors, highway commissioners, school commissioners, board of review, and annual town meetings. The volumes for 1932-1969 record minutes and have papers pertaining to other town business interspersed. The series includes Board of Health minutes, 1922-1943.
