Abstract:
Papers of Gregg Underheim, Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 54th District (Oshkosh) from 1987 until his retirement in 2006. Subjects documented include Underheim's work as the chair of the Special Committee on Health Care Information (1995-2005) and his work as chair of the State and Local Finance Committee and the committee's involvement with the Kettl Commission. Also documented is Underheim's work on Assembly Bill 740 intended to legalize medical use of marijuana, his involvement with Project Success at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, work on the Personal Protection Act for Concealed Carry, as well as Assembly Bill 215 concerning the sale of nitrous oxide.
