Zion United Church of Christ Records, 1856-1958

Biography/History

The Zion United Church of Christ, in the Town of Dale, Outagamie County, Wisconsin, was established in the 1850s as a German Reformed congregation. About 1858, the church allied with the local German Lutheran congregation to share a pastor and a church building which they constructed in Medina. By 1889, the congregations had separated and the Reformed group razed their church and moved to Dale and thereafter began using the name Zion Reformed Church.
