Papers, 1915-1976, of Dutch journalist Bernard Person, who delivered daily broadcasts to the Nazi-occupied Netherlands during World War II and was later decorated by the Dutch Government. As a newspaper reporter, Person covered the French occupation of the Ruhr and the 1924 trial of Adolf Hitler in Munich. Person brought his family to the United States in March 1939. In 1945, he was assigned to the United Nations representing Dutch newspapers. He remained at that post until 1978, when he retired.
