The files gathered by Ruth Dickie, the Wisconsin Dietetic Association's historian, contain background information on the organization, its activities and its members. The files are arranged by year, some years have multiple files. Materials scattered throughout include meeting minutes, conference programs, newsletters, by-laws, reports, news clippings, Madison Dietetic Association materials, and photographs of individuals and events. There is also miscellaneous background information with some materials dating before 1960, including a history of the Wisconsin Dietetic Association, 1949-1960, two unidentified portraits, and transcripts of radio programs.
