Records of the Public Relations Board, a Chicago, Illinois, public relations firm founded by Lee Schooler in 1948 which was a pioneer in linking social research with public relations; accounts included companies such as H.W. Gossard, Dr. Scholl’s, Magnavox, Eureka, the American Library Association, and the Nuclear Power Association, among many others. The records document the company’s program goals and the products offered to clients through files representing the major and/or innovative accounts.
