Abstract:
Records of the Wisconsin Regional Office of the AFL-CIO, which was the AFL-CIO's primary contact point with central labor bodies and with directly-affiliated locals (locals not associated with any international union). Since 1974, there has been no regional office in Wisconsin and the state is covered by the Chicago regional office. The records document the structure and activities of the state labor councils, directly affiliated local unions, and the regional office, as well as the relationship between the regional office and its affiliates.
