Abstract:
Photographs and papers, mainly 1880-1944, of George Swan and his extended family of Beaver Dam. George Swan was a doctor and the proprietor of Vita Park, a summer resort and health spa located in Beaver Dam. The collection contains images of the Swan family, the Vita Park and hotel, vacations, and the Swan family home. Also included is Mary Swan's (daughter) Wayland Academy school scrapbook, family genealogy, news articles, and ephemera related to Dr. Swan and his health resort.
