Abstract:

Papers of Michael Philippi, an award winning theater lighting and set designer, containing production files for plays Philippi worked on for a variety of theaters in the United States, as well as several overseas productions. Theaters include: the Goodman Theatre, Wisdom Bridge Theatre, Northlight Theatre, the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and the Utah Shakespearean Festival, among others. Materials cover his early work in the early 1970s while a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison through the final play he worked on in 2009 for the Goodman Theatre.
