Abstract:

Papers of Beth and Eric Heiden, Olympic speed skating champions from Madison, Wisconsin, relating primarily to the 1980 Winter Olympics at Lake Placid at which Beth won one Bronze and Eric won five Gold medals. The bulk of the collection consists of fan mail (1980) to Beth and Eric. Also included are scrapbooks, photographs, drawings, and posters.
