Abstract:
Papers of Sofia Sequenzia, including articles, pamphlets, brochures, newsletters, and correspondence documenting Sequenzia's role in the National Lawyer's Guild (NLG), Community Action on Latin America (CALA), and Central American Task Force (CATF). Sequenzia played a prominent role in organizing and participating in committees and conferences advocating for women's rights, pro-choice, anti-sterilization, and integration in Milwaukee (Wisconsin) school districts. She was also heavily involved in Central American causes such as the Nicaraguan Brigades, the attempts to secure the release of Uruguayan labor leader Raul Sendic, and the fight for democratic rights in Chile.
