Abstract:

Assessment rolls showing name of town, date, name of taxpayer, land description by town and section or lot and block, valuation of real property and personal property, and the certificate of the assessor. The 1859 volume contains the rolls of all towns in Lafayette County. There are separate rolls for each town for 1861, 1863, and 1865-1867. For 1904 there are rolls only for Darlington. For 1936, there are rolls only for New Diggings.
