Election records for Kenosha County filed by the county clerk, including the following types of records dating 1889-1904, 1942, 1953, and 1960: (a) Tally sheets and statements of election inspectors sent by local election officials to the clerk, showing the vote received within the precinct by each candidate and for and against each referendum question; (b) Scattered copies of the clerk's election return statements to the Secretary of State, showing total vote by precinct for each candidate and for and against each referendum question, in all elections except those in a district smaller than the county; (c) Poll lists, showing names and addresses of persons voting; and (d) Registers of electors, showing names and addresses of persons registered to vote (for most years, pertains only to the City of Kenosha). Also present are certificates of nomination, sample ballots, election notices, instructions from the Secretary of State, and other miscellaneous papers, 1936-1944, 1947-1951, and 1954-1956. English
