Records of the labor organization at the Niagara, Wisconsin, paper mill owned and operated by the Kimberly-Clark Corporation (1872-1972) and by Niagara of Wisconsin Papers Corporation (1972- ), a subsidiary of Pentare Incorporated. Union activities are documented from the founding of the independent Paper Mill Workers' Union in 1941 to its replacement by Local 205 of the International Brotherhood of Pulp, Sulphite and Paper Mill Workers Union, AFL-CIO, in 1970 and by Local 1166 of the United Paperworkers International Union in 1973. The bulk of the material relates to the Paper Mill Workers' Union and dates from 1949 to 1969. Included is correspondence with officers of Kimberly-Clark, labor organizations, and labor-related governmental agencies, and files pertaining to collective bargaining and routine operations of the union.
