There are extensive records relating to the on-location shooting of the picture at Acoma, New Mexico; Bronson Canyon, California; and Crater Lake, Oregon, which give a clear picture of the problems and procedures involved in filming at remote locations. The actual shooting of the film is represented by scene-by-scene notes with scene numbers, short resumes of the action, wardrobe changes, essential props, cast and bit players, production notes, shooting schedules, and call sheets.
