Abstract:
Intra-corporation information notices. The bulk of these were issued by a small number of executives in the sales and the publicity departments, although a significant quantity originated in other areas, such as the accessories manager and the comptroller's office. Also included are smaller quantities of press releases, interdepartmental and interoffice correspondence, and miscellaneous enclosures. Most of the material is related to the selling and exploitation of films both to exhibitors and to the general public. Other frequently found subject matter concerns the success of various pictures, proper office procedures, requests for charitable donations, and exhortations to sell more pictures on better terms.
