Abstract:

The Charlie Hanson collection contains a variety of letters submitted to the "Troubleshooters" column, a regular segment of the Daily Cardinal student newspaper. "Troubleshooters" was a regular society column which covered various social events, personal stories, and campus rumors and gossip from around the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The letters were collected by Hanson while working at the Daily Cardinal where he regularly contributed writing to the "Troubleshooters" column. Also included in the collection is the original "Troubleshooters" mailboxes where students could anonymously submit their letters.
