Abstract:
Charles C. Miller Memorial Apicultural Library collection are materials related to the creation of the memorial library, including correspondence, records books, and catalogs of journals in the collection. Contributions from bee-keepers around the world were accepted to create The Miller Memorial Library, including Miller's personal library. The Miller Memorial Library was donated to UW-Madison libraries in 1922, where H.F. Wilson continued to develop the apicultural library. This collection includes correspondence about the creation of the library, organized by location of recipient; photo albums of bee-keeping in other countries; photographs and glass negatives, most depicting attendees of the 1926 Bee Chautauqua; and various paper ephemera about bee-keeping, including programs, pamphlets, and newsletters. Individually cataloged titles from the Miller Memorial Library can be found in the UW-Madison catalog.
