Teresa M. Browne collection documents the arrival and departure of the Russian naval ship, "Lena", to San Francisco Bay in 1904 during the Russo-Japanese War. The materials include correspondence from high school student, Teresa M. Browne, and one of the ship's liutenants, Pavel "Paul" Yarovenko. The collection also includes a photo album of people on the "Lena", calling cards of Browne and officers on the ship, and dance invitations. Some holiday cards and other mementos collected by Browne are in the collection, such as a wallet or fabric sashes with the ship's name on it.
