Abstract:

Papers of Winston Van Horne, a former professor in the UW-Milwaukee Africology Department and a leader in the national Africology field. The papers include correspondence related to Van Horne's service as chair of the Afro-American Studies and Africology programs, as well as materials related to Van Horne's involvement in the Community Brainstorming Conference. A large portion of the collection is devoted to manuscripts of a selection of Van Horne's publications.
