Abstract:

Records documenting the Graduate Program Office at the UW-Milwaukee School of Nursing. Detailed are the activities of various committees and subcommittees, such as Admissions and Progression, Appeals, Awards, Evaluation, and Trainees/Fellowships. Also included are correspondence, task force reports, and retreats for doctoral faculty and the graduate program. Well documented are the master's program and course development before and after departmentalization at UWM, including new course proposals and course syllabi, and doctoral program development from 1979 to 1982. There are also numerous files on student associations and the Nursing program's accreditation with the National League for Nursing.
