There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all
members of the public in accordance with state law.
The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel,
privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin
Statutes 19.21-19.39).
An unknown individual transferred the collection to the Archives prior to 1989. The
Center for International Education transferred accession 2010-061 in 2011. The department
transferred additional materials in August 2013 (accession 2013-013). The Institute of
World Affairs donated additional materials (2010-052) to the Archives in May 2011. The
Archives returned accession 2013-013 to the Center in May 2017. The Center transferred
additional materials in November 2017 (accession 2017-018), and in January 2018 (accession
2017-021). CIE transferred additional materials to the Archives in July 2018 (accession
2018-003).
Nicholas Weber processed the first transfer in December 1995. Brad Houston added
accession 2010-061 in June 2013. Christel Maass updated the finding aid to include
information about accession 2013-013 in September 2013. Christel Maass separated and
processed the occasional papers from accession 2010-052 in April 2015. Christel Maass
added a few additional newsletters to the collection in November 2017. Christel Maass
minimally processed accession 2017-018 in December 2017. Christel Maass processed
accession 2017-021 in January 2018. Claire Dinkelman and Christel Maass minimally
processed accession 2018-003. Shiraz Bhathena added three electronic files in April
2023.
