Access Restrictions

The executive committee and several subcommittee minutes in boxes 8 and 9 are restricted in accordance with UWM Personnel File Policy S-42. Access is regulated by Section III.A.2 and III.A.3. There are no other access restrictions on the rest of the collection, which is open to all members of the public in accordance with state law. Accession 2022-015 is restricted.

Use Restrictions

The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel, privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin Statutes 19.21-19.39).

Acquisition Information

The collection originally consisted of two series transferred to the Archives prior to 1989. Dr. Robert Greenler of the Physics Department transferred additional material to the Archives in 2002 (accession 2002-045). The department transferred additional materials in August 2010 (accessions 2010-011 and 2010-014), October 2010 (accession 2010-024) and November 2022 (accession 2022-015) .

Processing Information

Angela R. Cisco reprocessed the collection at the Archives in February 1994. Jessica Sawinski processed accession 2002-045 in February-March 2007. Cate Sering began processing accessions 2010-014 and 2010-024 in February 2011, and Ben Barbera began processing accession 2010-011 in the summer of 2011. Heather Hoff (supervised by Christel Maass) completed processing of accessions 2010-011, 2010-014, and 2010-024 in October 2011. Brad Houston added some additional material to the collection in November 2014. Grace Hiller minimally processed accession 2022-015 in October 2023. Lauran Slagle integrated materials in April 2024.
