Abstract:
Miscellaneous records of the Advocate Education Program--Teacher Corps for Corrections, Milwaukee (AEP-TCCM), which was designed to educate students and other program participants in how to deal with problems and potentials of "conflict youth." Includes curriculum committee minutes and newsletters containing announcements, reports, and information concerning course and curriculum developments. Correspondence files contain correspondence of Frank P. Besag, director of the Teacher Corps for Corrections, documenting the development of the Teacher Corps Program. The collection also includes files of the Local Education Agency (LEA), which administered the Advocate Education Program--Teacher Corps for Corrections. These records largely consist of minutes documenting staffing, budget, and other administrative matters of concern. Other materials document the development and evaluations of the Teacher Corps program.
