Abstract:
Contains documents of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Education Committee, at the time chaired by Rudy Small. This committee played an integral part in getting the Green Bay area a new four year university. Included are documents containing the site information for where a new university could have been located, various correspondences covering the years 1963 to 1967, site presentations, background materials from 1963 to 1966, budget date for UWGB for 1966 to 1967, the final site selection report, committee minutes for 1964 and 1966, Senate and Assembly bills from 1965 to 1967, and documents pertaining to the site selection controversy from 1966 to 1967.
