Scope and Content Note: The Library and Map Departments both served as geographic research collections for the public and private sectors. This subseries represents only a small portion of the Library and Map Departments' records, and is mainly comprised of correspondence and other miscellaneous documents. Along with the Library and Map collections themselves, the majority of the departments' records were sent to UWM in 1978.
