all members of the public in accordance with state law.

Isaiah Bowman donated the scrapbooks (Volumes 1-5) to the American Geographical
Society (AGS) on August 31, 1933. The American Geographical Society (AGS)
donated these scrapbooks to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Libraries in
1978 as part of its entire map and library collections. Books owned by Isaiah
Bowman and members of the Bowman family (Volumes 6-15) came to the American
Geographical Society Library (AGSL) as a donation from the Bowman Family in
2023.
