The collection is arranged alphabetically by location. Other columns in the index
include Image ID number; Subject of the photo; Type of the subject; Name of the
individual, locomotive, or car; Number of the train, locomotive, or car; Date of the
photo; and Contents, which details how many photos or other items are present. Image
IDs marked with an asterisk (*) indicates that there are multiple entries for that
number. For example, one photo that contains a locomotive and an individual, may
have two entries with the same Image ID to describe them both. Some Image IDs have
several entries.
